The village of Continental will be accepting applications are resumes for a full-time Police Cheif. Since the Police Cheif has supervision over all Police Department Staff, supervisory experience is required. Eight (8) years of experience in police work preferred. Completion of the basic law enforcemnet training academy or equivalent.
Special requirements:
- Must possess a valid State Driver’s Licence without record of suspension or revocation in any state.
- Ability to meet Department’s physical standards Ohio Police Officer Training Acadamey.
- Maintain all training levels and certifications required by the state of Ohio for Police Officers, Police Supervisory personnel, and Police Chiefs.
